Case study
Jax Spine & Pain Centers began with a single location in Jacksonville and quickly expanded to include over 14 locations, including St. Augustine and Brunswick, eventually growing into a larger regional presence. As the practice scaled, their original website design no longer supported the needs of a multi-location model. They required a new website that could not only reflect their expanding footprint but also support continued digital growth and scalability across all markets.
As the business expanded, the website needed to evolve alongside it—both in design and functionality. The previous site couldn’t support the demands of a multi-location practice, which created major roadblocks.
Increase in New Website Visitors
For Jax Spine & Pain Centers, we had to build out dedicated pages for each new office and individual provider to ensure they were indexed correctly and could rank in local search results. A unique challenge was optimizing for providers who work across multiple locations—this required a robust strategy for landing pages and SEO tied to each doctor’s name. This was a major driver in transitioning to a new site, and the result was improved control over local optimization for both locations and providers.
Key functional considerations for a growing practice include:
The new website gave Jax Spine & Pain Centers complete control over their digital presence, allowing them to scale their practice without running into design or SEO limitations. Their providers began ranking properly in search engines, patients could easily find the right location and provider, and the business saw improved online visibility across all platforms. This strategic digital upgrade not only supported the current expansion but positioned the practice for continued growth and long-term success.
As Jax Spine & Pain Centers rapidly expanded from a single location in Jacksonville to multiple offices across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, their existing website could no longer support the scale of their growth. The design wasn’t built to handle multiple locations, and the structure lacked the functionality to effectively showcase all offices, providers, and services. Additionally, SEO was suffering due to the fact that providers who are working at more than one location weren’t being properly indexed, and patients were having trouble finding accurate information on search engines and maps. We also encountered the issue where providers’ previous practices were appearing in search engine results instead of their current Jax Spine and Pain Centers locations.
To address these challenges, we developed a fully redesigned, scalable website optimized for multi-location functionality. This included creating individual landing pages for each office and each provider, which allowed for accurate indexing on Google and improved visibility on platforms like Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Bing. We also implemented a strategic SEO and landing page optimization plan specifically for providers who practiced at multiple locations, ensuring that their names—and associated locations—would show up accurately and consistently in search results.
Within 3 months of rebranding and expanding digital exposure, the practice was seeing an 84% increase in new patient intakes
